Every player was asked to bring an item or two for the hamper which would go to the winner of the raffle. The precedes of the raffle goes to charity, in this case St. Christopher's Hospice which cared for Frances during her final days. Frances was well known for keeping all the club's windows clean, hence this trophy is commonly known as the Windows Trophy and is a small window.

A dozen of us were split into two sides of six and played three triples games against one another. the triples were varied from game to game and scores kept for each player.
After the three games the highest scoring player on each side (by number of ends won) played a singles final of four ends as there wasn't time for six.
The finalists were Carol and Cakey with Mark J and Adrian sharing third spot. It was a very close game, 2-all after four ends then Carol took two on the decider.

Afterwards we all enjoyed a huge BBQ - partly because we had catered for more players. The chicken, burgers and sausages are still covered in this photo.

President Jill presented Carol with the trophy and asked Frances' widower Keith to draw the raffle. At first nobody claimed the raffle then Jill realised it was hers.
