2023 Francis Chappell Open

This mixed-triples day is very popular. Teams from 10 clubs play a series of timed matches, 2 points for a win, 1 for a draw, and the two highest scorers play in the final.

The day was sunny and hot, climbing to 33degC by 12:30 when the excellent buffet lunch provided by Francis Chappell was served.

The finalists and scores were Ladywell 8, Woodcraft 9 so Woodcraft took the trophy.

FDBC were joint third with Bethlem and Dulwich Park. Other participants were BB&DBA, Queensway, Forest Hill, Langley and Bellingham
