2019 Pairs Competition
One-day Pairs competition and Charity Day
24 members all wore something blue to enjoy a friendly but competitive pairs compoetition and raise money for Alzheimer's Society
The event kicked off with the traditional 'Spider@ when each participant has one foot in the ditch and on the hooter rolled one bowl towards the spider in the middle of the green. Frances was closest and won the Whisky!
Several ladies brought lovely home made cakes which were enjoyed at tea time as we all took a rest from the very windy (but dry) conditions.
Members had also contributed a range of raffle prizes and all proceeds went into the Alzheimer's tin!
Rob and Mark were runners up.
Barb and Dave (alias Silver Fox) were the winners - Well done!
