The BIG Match

The Big Match. On Tuesday the 12th June Francis Drake hosted the first Francis Drake V Lewisham & Glendale match. Francis Drake had three triple teams against Lewisham and Glendale the majority had never bowled before, but our skips Sylvia L, Tony, and Dennis set to and gave them some coaching and before long the match was underway, The score was 32 to Francis Drake and 25 to Lewisham which shows what a good job our club did to coach these players,

I would also like to thank all the members for the hard work they put in to ensure the evening went well. Paul organised the bowls and footwear, Dennis organised the green. heather, Maria, Arty, Julian, Dennis J, helped encourage and entertained the visitor.
