2025 Open Day

All the members of Francis Drake Bowls Club love bowling.

It’s many things; skillful, tactical, sociable, satisfying, frustrating, fun. We particularly love sharing our passion with others.

Today, Saturday 10th May, we held an open day where we do our best to get as many people bowling as possible and I think we excelled today, lots of smiling, happy faces.

Lots of doubting novices feeling chuffed with their accomplishments.

Lots of friendly competitiveness coming out.

The introduction to a great pastime or sport, it can offer you want you wish from it, but most of all, fun.
