Newsletter 26: My first year

I joined FDBC last season as just a casual player and found I was hooked very quickly.
 
Everyone at the club is very friendly, welcoming and always willing to help a novice bowler with some great tips. I felt at home here straight away.

I have signed up again this season and entered a couple of competitions.
 
Already this season I have managed to play in a couple of friendly games and had a great day out at New Romney with not only members of FDBC but some other surrounding clubs.
 
I have joined our ladies NWKL team and have played my first match with them, which was a great experience. I hope that playing more of these games over time will help me improve my game.
 
I am looking forward to the season ahead and getting to know everyone a bit better.
